Nmls - Piotr Michałowski - sound artist from Warsaw, Poland who is mainly interested in soft, melodious and emotive music combining such genres like Ambient, Downtempo and IDM. As a live performer he presents his solo material and also plays improvised concerts with other artists. He is a part of a IDM duo Ambot which combines dark IDM beats with deep ambient pads and melodies. At the moment he is also making an album with Chineese artist Erdao. In February 2011 he released a free EP with electronic remixes of Chopin's music on his website and now he is working on releases for labels in Poland, China and USA. His music was also released on compilarions in Poland and Germany. Besides typical music production he is also interested in Pure Data programming and DIY audio electronics

B6(Lou Nanli) is China's most prolific and respected independent electronic musician and DJ.
Hailing from Shanghai, this 29-year-old maverick is a multi-talented electronic music pioneer, DJ, renowned graphic artist,and co- founder of Neocha.com and the Antidote parties
As a teenager, B6 started his own independent record label (Isolation Music), and composed critically-acclaimed experimental sound art, ambient, and post-rock albums while also producing sound and designing album covers for various alternative music acts on the mainland. B6's graphic works have been exhibited in museums in the UK, Europe, and North America.
In the years since, B6's productions have explored a variety of genres, from synth-pop to IDM to breakcore and drum and bass, and in 2006 released a 6-CD box set of his early works. In 2007, B6 teamed up with singer JJay to complete a radiofriendly but cutting- edge synth-pop album called IGO "Synth Love", released on Universal Music HK.
In 2008, B6 released a new solo album -- B6 "Post Haze" on China's Modern Sky Records. "Post Haze" shows a new maturity in B6's music, with precision programming, dance-floor rocking rhythms and glitch-happy beats. Starting with smooth, atmospheric minimalism, moving into mind-bending tech-house, then a bit of bangin' techno, "Post Haze" promises to be a landmark release out of China's developing independent music scene.
In 2009, B6's "Post Haze" second edition is released in Europe and has received great reviews by the European electronic music community. He has since performed live at Berlin's legendary Tresor club, Sweden's VOLT Festival, Belgium's Vooruit Club, and others.
In 2010, B6 had music tours in Germany, Denmark, Australia. July - Sept, B6 Performed at EXPO Shanghai 2010 in German and Switzerland pavilion.
B6 has been interviewed and featured by BBC TV and Radio, NPR Radio, CCTV, DragonTV and reviewed in magazines like Time, The Wire, IDN, Vice, Tank, Vision, Milk, and many more. He's also composed music for films and commercials.

B6是中国最著名的电子音乐制作人与DJ, 同时身兼新锐设计师，并且也是Antidote解毒剂派队的创办人之一。早年，B6创办了个人的独立音乐厂牌Isolation，并且制作了大量不同风格的前卫音乐，作品涉及实验、声音艺术、环境、后摇等多种最前卫的种类。同时设计了大量中国独立音乐唱片封套并参与了很多独立电影以及艺术作品的配乐。B6的设计作品在中国，欧洲以及北美的各大美术馆都有展出。
随后，B6的音乐方向产生了更多样性的转变，成功制作了一批智能舞曲作品。2006年，B6出版了6CD的个人音乐盒套装《B6Box》，收录了当时的众多个人作品。同年组成了新浪潮与合成器流行组合IGO。2007年在北京摩登天空以及香港环球唱片旗下出版了专辑《Synth Love》, 获得了空前的好评。
2010年，B6受邀携全新音乐理念赴德国科隆和柏林制作新专辑前期，并在德国，瑞典，丹麦，澳大利亚等国巡演。7月-9月受邀在上海世博会德国馆和瑞士馆进行电子音乐表演，2010年的B6将再次用全新的专辑征服听众。

Experimental electronics since 1996. The original goal of Seed Project was to separate the recurring spaces and sound sequences in order to create new structures. I often use very low frequencies which are rather felt than heard. Humans react to it in an exceptional way. They fall into a state of half sleep - half consciousness. These sounds, seemingly beyond perception, carry us into a specific state of contemplation. On the "Seed2" album these samples have been used in a manner which neglects their original function. "For me Seed Project is a way of never-ending experimentation with tone and electronic instruments. I edit and process everything that for any other listener would be just scrap material. I concentrate on creating music using the background of nature, the echo, something we hear unconsciously. I use leftover, unwanted tones. Same goes for the structures I prepare for TASEE project with Mikolaj Trzaska. No matter what equipment I use, I end up with the same way of thinking about sound. Krzysiek Cybulski is a bass player with background in jazz composition and arrangement, but from quite a few years now he's into experimenting with digital sound processing in live context. From his experience in improvisation using traditional instruments, he developed his own live setup (based on Native Instruments REAKTOR custom patch), which allows him to improvise his live sets from scratch. He's still refining his setup, as well as his approach to music. Since 2008 he's a part of Warsaw Electronic Festival society.

Mode of Teaspoon, a new electronic group in China, with traditional sound of China & modern Ambient, the 2 members from different cities create their own style of music. Dim17Molko (Chengdu) & Erdao (Shenzhen) used to be cyber-friends on from 2000 and the group was finally founded in the spring of 2009 after their first meeting in Shenzhen. After attempt in different styles of music for several months, they began to focus on the traditional culture of China & try to include more traditional elements & feeling in the music.

krzysztof Orluk,experimental musician born in Poland (1986). His sounds are the compromise between the world of digital machines and field recordings. Apart from this Orluk uses orchestral sounds, opera recordings, different pianos and synthesizers, bells, old vinyls and artificial cracks. Nejmano is a solo Project created by Maciej Nejman- a clarinetist and a musician from Gdansk, Poland. For three years he has been playing ambient music with noise elements saturated with electronic improvisations. Earlier, inspired by German techno, he had been composing music based on samples and rough, dirty beats. Later he became obsessed with ‘outdoor’ sounds, field recording, sound experiments, and live instruments blended with modern technologies- computer processing and digital effects. Since that time his music has been evolving into pure ambient and spatial sounds. Now Nejmano Project’s music can be described as a tremendous dose of dark harmonies, rough, dirty sounds and throbbing compressors blended with extremely distorted guitar sounds. It's a some kind of “sound gallimaufry” which can be reinterpreted every time you listen to it.

Minoo,a composer should be perceived as an element of secondary importance. It is the music that should be absolutely primal, surpassing in the existance its huma source. Is it possible to talk about creating any way? Maybe it would be more precise to use the words like: finding, experiencing some deep revelation or skilfully selecting the components. In music, everything is processed or some fragment, already shaped comes from nowwhere. That is why it does not make sens to talk about material, the devices we use while composing: analogy or digital processing, all tricks are allowed. We can mutter or tap a good music on our way to work or we can as well orchestrated it. What matters is whether it will reach the right place in the right time and, by its virtuosity to exclud it and create something more. A situation when a hearer can not find the words to describe what he has just heard is the best compliment for each musician- thus, the form has surpassed the most deeply rooted means of expression. Which form is the most perfect: silence or piercing buzz? On the basis of this spectrum, both may be right. Relativity in its most primeval form. Everything that is “outside”, all that influences the sound and is not of music origin should be consistently eliminated. All that matters is creation, consistency and... Each rustle and breath can be randomly processed and recorded. Each sound stimuli even those by all appearances spontaneous and unsystematic can be recorded on mathematic matrix. Everything may be reduced to numbers or derivated from it. Fortunately what comes form the outside is the most beautiful. It sits beside you and with its breath it pours the sounds accumulated somewhere in the unknown distance, the magic spirit of the univers, the eternal advocate. He is the last link of creation- the most precise cut, lasting from miliseconds and microsounds to hourlong opera acts. It is a manifestation of genius and inevitability. The greatest beauty in the world.

Sin:Ned (Wong Chung-Fai), an idiosyncratic writer and a sonic junkie from Hong Kong, hacks and twists anything he can put his hands on. One of the major contributing writers of the legendary Hong Kong alternative music magazine MCB. While not writing as a pseudo-music critic elaborating his esoteric worldview, in the same idiosyncratic fashion, he spends much of his time hacking and sculpting sonic materials with his laptop and various electronic gears. Used to be a member of the internet-based music collective Tapegerm, and had also performed as a sonic improviser in the "Media Jam – Survival Kit" of 03 HK Sound And Vision Festival. Some of his earlier sound works can be found in various releases such as "Music For Your Beautiful Boy", "Mondisk", "MCB200", Alok's "29 Minutes From The End" and several compilations released by the Tapegerm collective. His first two solo works, "Uroborus: A Study On No-input Device" and "60 Seconds: A Schizophrenic Manual For Eternity", were both released by Lona Records in 2006. In 2006, Sin:Ned formed a concept group, No One Pulse, with his long time collaborator Chau Kin-Wai (Sleepatwork), and released first two installments of their experimentation, "Tele" and "Pathic" , under Lona Records (Hong Kong) and Little Sound (China) respectively.

RND - real name: Tomasz Pauszek, also known as ODYSSEY (born 1978) is an independent electronic media artist and electronic music producer. RND is a new experimental laptop and digital punch project of this artist. He started making music in 1999 and composed and released two albums as ODYSSEY (one album in co-operation with Polish duo REMOTE SPACES) which contained classic electronic and ambient music.
He also co-operated with Łukasz Pawlak, the owner of REQUIEM RECORDS in his CITY SONGS project. With his "EXPERIMENT.@ll" project from 2004, RND explored different levels of an electroacoustic and experimental music. As he said: "You can make music by using everything, every noise or sound. And you can do everything with this sound. You can experiment with it. It`s a matter of your imagination and creativity. So you can experiment.@ll".
In 2005 RND created a new program called "DISTR@CTIONS - EXPERIMENTAL TALES by RND". It`s a minimalistic musical eksperiment in the form of tales. Every track is like a new tale. You can also read the title "distr@ctions" as the "actions" that are to cause your distraction. Dickson Dee has been engaged in the music industry for more than 20 years. His career started from importing European independent labels to Hong Kong, China and Taiwan; followed by establishing his own music label, organizing concerts etc. His experience includes distribution, import/export, creation, publishing, promotion, artist management and other kinds of works in the industry. He has made a great contribution to the development of independent music in Hong Kong, China and Taiwan.
In 1996, Dickson’s debut solo album “PAST” was released under Tzadik label (USA). Since then, he began to set foot on the creation field with musical styles ranging from avantgarde to experimental, music concrete, electronic, new classical, industrial noise, dance, electronic world jazz etc. He has performed under different names and formed several bands. For example, DJ Dee for electronic experimental music, Li Chin Sung for music concrete and avantgarde, PNF for industrial noise, Khoomi Sound Machine for electronic world jazz, Dickson Dee for electronic acoustic,sampling cut ‘n’ paste and turntableist. He has collaborated with many artists such as Zbigniew Karkowski, Otomo Yoshihide, Sainkho Namtchylak, Maja Ratkje,Sachiko M,Werner Dafeldecker, Patrick Pulsinger,Cdrk,Tujiko Noriko, Tetsuo Furadate,Yoshida Tatsuya, Keiji Haino,Adichi Tomomi, Astro, Makigami Koichi,Kang Taehwan ,Lawrence English, Electronicat , Park Je Chun, Jonas Hellborg, Uwe Dierksen, VJ Milosh, Dr Das etc.
Dickson set up his personal label Dicksonia Audio beside Noise Asia, which concentrates on the release and publishing of his own works. This provides more freedom and convenience to further develop his creativity.
Besides concerts, Dickson also appears in arts academy and university for workshops and lectures to share his experiences with students, hoping to trigger their interest on sound art and music; furthermore, to give them a better understanding on the different aspects of music.

Dickson Dee(李劲松)
香港实验乐手，演出策划人，唱片公司主持。推动中国新音乐超过十年，曾在中国内地多个城市策划实验音乐表演，邀请知名乐手如John Zorn、灰野敬二、大友良英、Sachiko M、Zbigniew Karkowski等前来演出。1995年在Tzadik厂牌发表专辑《Past》，2002年以DJ Dee的名义发表《Sunday》，该专辑为一套共七张CD的创作计划中的第一张，该计划以一星期中每日的名称分别作为七张唱片的标题，唱片中曲目的标题均为时间。《Sunday》于2004年七月获得"华语音乐传媒大奖"之"新音乐大奖"。
DJ Dee是Li Chin Sung（李劲松）投向电子音乐创作的一个创作代号。该代号源于95年Li Chin Sung在Tzadik发表的“Past”。该厂牌领导人美国著名先锋音乐家John Zorn十分希望Li Chin Sung能继续发展唱片其中的采样手法，并以他的姓为其构思了“DJ Dee”的代号。DJ Dee的音乐创作手法在采样拼贴的基础上发展出来，全盘使用电子乐器。但其音乐的风格却并非固定，各种跳舞音乐、Ambient、采样拼贴、实验声响都可能出现在其作品中。

Eta Carinae is the solo project of Grzegorz Bojanek, the founder of the net label:: www.etalabel.com. He focuses mostly on ambient, experimental as well as electroacoustic music.
The first album (self-titled) was released in summer of 2002. It was inspired by the literature of Stanislaw Lem and Carl Sagan. The record has been acknowledged by the www.syntezatory.pl website. One of his compositions was included on the "Sleep Well - chapter II" record, released by Requiem Records. In 2004 EC released its second album called "Movement…". A year later the next album "::3::" came out. Now you can listen to the compilation disc with remixes. On this album EC has collaborated with artists from Asia (PEI – Taiwan), North America (Andrew Duke – Canada) and Poland. During the concerts EC is very often supported by a jazz guitar player of the young generation, Michal Kolasinski. They played together for the first time in Zacheta National Gallery in Warsaw during WEF 2005 and again in 2006. Eta Carinae performed also several radio live acts in national BIS Polish Radio.
Nowadays Grzegorz concentrates also on the Warsaw Electronic Festival. He organizes concerts of the young Polish electronic artists in Poland. This initiative is called WEF ON TOUR and so far WEF artists have played in cities like: Czestochowa, Poznan, Radom and Lódz.
Grzegorz, together with Zen Lu (China) is also a founder of the Polish - Chinese project ChoP. Both musicians confront their cultures and create new quality of sound which can be described as organic ambient. The music is based on the samples recorded in China and Poland. Several other musicians from China and Poland were invited to take part in the project. The second album called “8 Rooms” was released by Tom Pauszek (Poland) and Dickson Dee (China). Soon, new albums will be available.
The 4th regular Eta Carinae album is now available. It was published by www.weplayrec.cn. On this album Grzegorz mainly concentrates on mixture of the live instruments, field recording and electronic sounds.
Nowadays Greg is preparing an album which will contain tracks recorded during the concerts which he played around Poland in 2008. He also started a project called "08Deutschland" where aound-artists from Poland create tracks in the basis of the field recordings Greg recorded during his short visit to Germany. So stay tunned.

Zen Lu,Experimental/eletronic musician & sound artist,founder of We Play! Records and Neo Sound new art group and events curator. He’s one of the founders of ChoP, a musical project between China and Poland. Zen Lu is also a member of N2 Multimedia Art Lab, working and residing in Shenzhen, PRC.
Early 2007, Zen Lu founded Shenzhen independent label ‘We Play! Records’ and organizing events with artists from all over the world as well as. Apart from these,he composing music for dramas and movies.
Zen Lu’s minute, meticulous and minimalist digital music style as well as events organized by him and his label has played a major role in bringing a new wave of art activities to Shenzhen, for which the latter has been long considered a cultural desert.

ChoP is a musical duo founded by a Chinese experimental musician, sound artist Zen Lu and Polish experimental musician Grzegorz Bojanek in 2006. Their method of composing is mainly by means of transferring and exchanging music samples of any kind (mainly recorded traditional instruments, field recordings in China and Poland, etc.) over the internet, and treatment afterwords. The album reflects the exploration of differences in experimental music between sound artists of two different cultures and societies. The first album of ChoP, titled "over a foul line / simple questions" was released in 2007. ChoP is not a one-off project between Zen and Grzegorz only. Each ChoP album is planned to invite different artists from two countries to appear in this series of future releases. Dickson Dee (Hong Kong) experimental musician and Tomasz Pauszek (RND), Polish electronic musician, have been invited to join in the composition of "Chop vol.2",which was released in March 2008. We have also invited Sin:Ned (Hong Kong) and Minoo (Poland) to join to ChoP vol.3, KLC_NIR (China) and Nejmano (Ploand) join to ChoP vol.4, Bai Tian (China) and Krzysztof Orluk (Poland) to join ChoP vol. 5, and more artists to come.
In 2010 ChoP's myspace was found by a British independent director and video artist Isaac Julien. He decided to use the music of ChoP vol. 1 in his latest 9-screen video installation called "Ten Thousand Waves". It's premiere during 17th Biennale of Sydney was a big success, just as the further exhibitions in ShanghART (Shanghai). Isaac Julien made a one screen version of the installation which is titled "Better Life". "Better Life" also contains the music of the ChoP duo. It was first shown during the 67th Venice Film Festival 2010. Isaac invited Zen and Greg to join him during the 8th Shanghai Biennale - "Rehearsal" and play live music to his film. During the first two days of the Biennale ChoP played 5 live-acts which were recorded separately. It is still possible to watch the film and listen to one of the recorded live-acts in Shanghai Art Museum until January 23rd 2011.

ChoP是由中国实验电子乐手、声音艺术家陆正与波兰实验音乐家Grzegorz Bojanek共同发起的新音乐跨国合作交流项目，通过网络传输的方式相互传递素材进行创作，体现出两种不同文化背景、不同社会形态下两国前卫音乐家对于实验音乐、声音艺术的探索与碰撞。ChoP vol.1 已经出版，ChoP不仅仅局限于Zen Lu和Grzegorz之间的创作，他们在每一系列出版中均邀请一位中国和波兰艺术家加入创作，香港实验音乐家Dickson Dee和波兰电子音乐家Tomasz Pauszek(RND)共同创作ChoP vol.2，并于2008年2月出版发行了唱片ChoP vol.2 ；同样来自香港的Sin:Ned和波兰的Minoo共同创作了ChoP vol.3，现已出版。参加ChoP vol.4的艺术家为KLC_NIR(中国)和Nejmano（波兰），他们的创作已于2009年3月出版。ChoP不仅仅局限于通过网络交流、创作和出版唱片，文字对话和图片及影像记录也是其中一部分，除此之外现场演出也是该项目非常重要的内容，自2007年开始，中国和波兰的音乐家在两个国家14座城市进行了三次巡回演出，他们从虚拟世界的合作进入真实世界的表演，用这种方式回应了ChoP的主题：跨国与协作。
