ChoP is a transnational music and visual project showing the aspects of constant development of the Far East and Eastern Europe. The performance of ChoP combines traditional and modern sounds of China and Poland with field recordings and ambient structures. The unique ChoP performance is accompanied by a live video presentation made by a VJ. ChoP was formed in September 2006 when Chinese sound artist Zen Lu began collaborating with Polish experimental musician Grzegorz Bojanek. With background in experimental electronica and industrial noise, ChoP's current sound is best described as "dark ambient with elements of field recordings". Positioned somewhere between a music and an art project, the duo have come to play in both exhibition spaces and concert halls. Their method of composition itself, exchanging samples across the internet between Poland and China, recalls the topoi of Isaac Julien's video installation "Ten Thousand Waves": collaboration and the crossing of boundaries.

Dim17Molko (Chengdu) & Erdao (Shenzhen) used to be cyber-friends on from 2000 and the group was finally founded in the spring of 2009 after their first meeting in Shenzhen. After attempt in different styles of music for several months, they began to focus on the traditional culture of China & try to include more traditional elements & feeling in the music.Their first album has been released under We Play! Records on May in 2010.

T.C.O. aka Mirco Magnani is a music composer and video artist, actually he lives and works in Berlin, member and composer of Minox, Technophonic Chamber Orchestra and 4Dkiller, he was co-founder of the independent label Suite inc., producer for various label's projects (Enfantronique, Dubital, Miss Q Lee, Krisma, etc.), has worked in studio and live with Steven Brown and Blaine Reininger from Tuxedomoon, Lydia Lunch, Nobukazu Takemura, Murcof, Daedelus, The Gentle People, etc.. <TITLES> is his first issue in China,it is a new paradigm of minimalist aesthetics.

Cityscape and images of a city shed influence on the artists who dwell there as well as on their works. And the creativity of artists influences the cityscape and our memories of the city. Electronic musicians from Shanghai, Hong Kong, Taipei and Shenzhen are invited to create works on the topic of “City Odyssey”, through the exploration of Hong Kong’s cityscape. Four guest speakers from Beijing and Guangzhou would also be invited to share their experience on urban spaces, namely their personal magical mystery City Odyssey, in this occasion.
